Participation in the Alzheimer’s Association’s Memory Walk

In 2005, Eddi and her trusted companion, Oliver, the Portuguese Water Dog, made the decision to participate in the Memory Walk sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Chicago. In two short weeks, they raised over $1000 for the Association and joined thousand’s of others by walking 3 miles along Chicago’s lakeshore.

In 2006, the staff of The Elder Office of Steven C. Perlis and Associates, PC decided that they wanted to join Eddi and Ollie by walking along the lakeshore. It was a beautiful day!

In 2007, Steve, Helen, Tina, Eddi and Oliver joined forces once again to walk for this cause and once again we had beautiful weather followed by a terrific breakfast at an outdoor café. It was a very moving experience seeing all of those who are touched by this illness making a contribution.
